Lived Experience at Just Fair

I was commissioned by Just Fair to help establish a sustainable model for the voices of lived experience to guide the work of the organisation, starting with developing an advisory group.

Over twelve months, I recruited the group’s founding members, supported them to develop a proposal for the Board of Trustees, and run a pilot phase where they influenced Just Fair’s policy work, fed into their ‘Right to Health’ campaign and came together for an in-person away day.

To support Just fair to integrate learning form the programme, I ran mid-point and end of year evaluations, based on measures of success defined by staff and members of the advisory group.

Testimony:

Kahra took the time to really understand our goals, ethos and approach - particularly that the journey is as important as the destination. This intention and dedication made a huge and positive impact to the project.

“The work we did with Kahra always felt delivered on the basis of trust and respect, and so it was easy for us to be very open with each other and really enhance our learning.”
